Główne kierunki badawcze:

Problematyka naukowa, którą zajmują się pracownicy Zakładu koncentruje się wokół zagadnień związanych z badaniem mechanizmów fizycznych odpowiedzialnych za regulację fotosyntetycznego transportu energii oraz ładunku elektrycznego. Ponadto prowadzone są prace eksperymentalne związane z badaniem własności strukturalnych oraz dynamicznych błon lipidowych. W badaniach naukowych stosowane są metody: spektroskopii absorpcyjnej, fluorescencji, rozpraszania ramanowskiego, FTIR, elektrochromizmu, DSC, monowarstw na powierzchni wody. W Zakładzie prowadzone są również prace związane z matematycznym modelowaniem kinetyki reakcji enzymatycznych.
